I remember back when I was a teenager I loved music. I actually didn’t have a favorite style, I simply loved melody in general. I would listen to country music, rock and roll, and even a little hip hop now and then. I believe persons surrounding me thought it was odd that I would listen to Johny Cash one minute, Nirvana the following, and Coolio the very next. I presently retain an all over appreciation for music but my interest has to be guitar. I wanted desperately to learn to play the classical guitar except in fact nobody in my kinwas overly musical. Through dumb luck I grew to become excellent friends with a couple guys who were totally astounding with guitars and they arranged to teach me. Through their help and a few lesson guides on the side I was mastering the basics in just a few weeks plus inside a year was writing my very own songs. Regardless that I’ve acquired 13 solid years under my belt I still turn to a guitar lesson book now and then.
