Many little girls, like my daughter, love the line of Disney Princess clothes, toys, and costumes. I can relate to that love, as I grew up in the 80s and 90s with Jasmine, Ariel, and Belle. However, unlike in those days, little girls today can find costumes featuring their favorite princess on the internet that they can wear for Halloween, birthdays, or dress up times during the year.

When I was 8, my grandma made me a Little Mermaid costume out of a worn out party dress, a sheet, and some lace. I’ll quite relieved that I can simply purchase a toddler Ariel costume for my little girl rather than spending hours sewing. I also got a kick out of the fact that there are now Ariel costumes for moms as well – my daughter and I could be twins for Halloween. What will they think of next?!
